The ASUW Experimental College is a student-run program offering low-cost non-credit classes in a variety of topics, including dance, arts and crafts, and much more.  We’re looking for feedback from students that will help us better serve the student body.
Click here to take the survey.  We will hold a random drawing for a $50 University Book Store gift card among those who complete the survey by midnight on January 16, 2012.  It should take about 10 minutes to fill out, and anyone with an active UW NetID is eligible.
To learn more about the Experimental College, or see our class schedule for this quarter, visit www.exco.org.  Classes begin on January 17.
2. Feedback needed for a Student Food Cooperative on campus!
The UW Student Food Cooperative (UWSFC) is exploring options to provide healthy, sustainably-sourced food in a way that best meets the needs of the campus community. They are currently working with ASUW on developing plans for a student-run, retail food cart in Red Square, and would greatly appreciate your input on the project. Please take this quick survey to voice your desires, interest, questions and concerns for this proposed addition to the campus food system!  And if you have any questions about the UWSFC or would like to get involved, contact info@uwsfc.com.

4. Save Work Study and keep landlords accountable.
Are you on Work Study? Did you know that the State Legislature is looking to eliminate all funding for the work study program this session? This means YOU  & 7,600 students across the state would be out of a job next year. This won’t happen if the ASUW Office of Government Relations has anything to say about it! Email Sarah Round and share your story. She will help you get in contact with Legislators and you could be a part of saving work study from the chopping block.

Do you live in less than desirable living conditions off-campus? Is there mold in your apartment, an inadequate source of heat, or is your housing not in good repair? The ASUW Office of Government Relations will be testifying in front of a housing inspections stakeholder group and would love to share your story and create a policy that will hold your landlord accountable. Email Sarah Round with your story.
