ASUW’s Committee on Student Safety spent an evening with UWPD and student volunteers from different communities, surveying possible improvements of safety. The Winter Powwow is an annual event hosted by ASUW’s American Indian Student Commission (AISC). This year, the celebration was held at the Indian Heritage High School gymnasium in North Seattle. This week, The Daily covers a bill to prohibit voter bribery, a resolution in opposition to differential tuition and an update from the ASUW Board of Directors. The update includes the passing of a resolution in support of a permanent student veterans resource center on campus.

The UW Board of Regents is holding a special forum to hear students’ comments about the budget and tuition rates Wednesday, Feb. 15
from 3:30-5:00 pm in the William H. Gates Law School Room 133 (see campus map here
